The 2025 APCE Annual Event invites participants to explore profound questions of faith and community. Inspired by Genesis 32:28, the event will delve into:
Wrestling with Fallibilities: Acknowledging individual shortcomings and the struggles within the Church's historical narrative.
Wrestling with Disenchantment: Navigating the tension between personal faith and the Church’s imperfections.
Wrestling with Reimagination: Calling for innovation, new perspectives, and envisioning a church centered on love, justice, and equality.
Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:
Commune with Friends: Build relationships with both old friends and new acquaintances.
Hear the Word: Be inspired by powerful proclamations.
Engage in Plenaries: Participate in compelling and challenging sessions.
Find Solace: Reflect and meditate in the spirituality center.
Learn Practical Lessons: Gain valuable insights from workshops.
Enjoy Duck Breaks: Witness the famous Duck March at the magnificent Peabody Hotel.
Participants are invited to join, either in person or online, to work individually and collectively towards stirring change for the betterment of churches and communities. The aim is to strive together to become a more beloved community.
