Hosted by Canterbury College
How can reflection help us become more grounded, self-aware, and Christ-focused in the work of ministry and care?
The Art of Reflective Ministry is a six-session online course from Canterbury College that explores critical thinking, self-awareness, and self-reflection as essential practices for ministry. Led by Rev. Dr. Jennifer Boyes-Garbin, the course invites participants to consider how thoughtful reflection can deepen the ways we understand ourselves, our relationships, our ministry, and our connection with God.
At the heart of the course is the understanding that ministry and care need to be grounded in more than simply what we do. Participants will be encouraged to centre our common humanity and the relationships we share with the Earth, one another, ourselves, and God.
This course offers a valuable opportunity for ministry leaders and others engaged in care to make space for reflection and strengthen practices that support thoughtful, grounded, and Christ-focused ministry.
Cost: $350 for credit or $175 to audit.
