Blessed Are the Undone: Leading in the Era of Quiet Deconstruction is a two-day event taking place October 4-5, 2024, in Waterloo, ON, Saskatoon, SK, and online. This conference will explore the growing phenomenon of quiet deconstruction within the Canadian church, offering pastors, ministry leaders, academics, artists, and those navigating personal faith questions an opportunity to engage with real-life stories of deconstruction.

Drawing on insights from the newly released book Blessed Are the Undone: Testimonies of the Quiet Deconstruction of Faith in Canada by Angela Reitsma Bick and Peter Schuurman, the event features keynote presentations, panel discussions, and workshops led by Canadian scholars and practitioners. Together, we will analyze the theological and sociological implications of this movement and explore how it is reshaping churches, ministries, and communities across the country.

The conference will also highlight the role of the arts in reflecting on faith transitions, with artists, poets, and musicians contributing to the conversation. Attendees can expect interactive discussions, networking opportunities, and time to share ideas and best practices.
