The Children’s Spirituality Summit (CSS) will host its Fall Online Summit on October 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM CST. This half-day event is open to all and will feature a keynote address by The Rev. Dr. Emily Hunter McGowin, associate professor of theology at Wheaton College and author of Households of Faith: Practicing Family in the Kingdom of God (IVP, 2025). Her keynote will explore the theological and biblical foundations of church and family, offering encouragement and practical insight for those who work with children in churches, families, and parachurch ministries.
In addition to the keynote, the summit will include workshops, discussion groups, and a Q&A session with Dr. McGowin. Registrants who cannot attend live will receive access to recordings of the plenary session and workshops.
