Hosted by KAIROS
In the week following International Women’s Day, KAIROS invites you to an important online conversation exploring the intersection of climate disruption, armed conflict, and gender inequality.
Across the world, women are confronting the realities of climate change, violence, and systemic inequality all at once. At the same time, they are leading courageous and creative responses in their communities. This forum offers an opportunity to hear directly from KAIROS partners who are navigating these intersecting challenges and advancing climate justice and sustainable peace in their own contexts.
Participants will also be introduced to KAIROS’ new initiative, Women Peacebuilders at the Nexus of Climate, Conflict and Gender, co-funded by Global Affairs Canada. This project supports women’s leadership through training, advocacy, and economic tools that strengthen collective action for climate justice and peacebuilding.
This event is designed for those who want to deepen their understanding, build solidarity, and engage in meaningful advocacy at the intersection of climate, conflict, and gender justice.
