Funding Ministry Into the Future

  • Knox Presbyterian Church Waterloo 50 Erb Street West Waterloo, Ontario, N2L 1T1 Canada (map)

How can congregations embrace generosity, strengthen stewardship, and find sustainable ways to support their ministry now and into the future? This event is hosted by the Presbyterian Church in Canada and collaboratively planned by a group of stewardship church professionals spanning a broad range of denominations.

Funding Ministry Into the Future, a two-day conference exploring fresh approaches to generosity, financial stewardship, and sustainable ministry. The conference features two keynote speakers:

  • Grace Duddy Pomroy, author of Funding Forward and a leader in stewardship and church financial sustainability at Luther Seminary. Grace brings expertise in congregational redevelopment, church properties, and reimagining traditional approaches to stewardship.

  • Paul Nazareth, a renowned Canadian speaker and expert in generosity, charitable giving, tax planning, and estate planning, who helps organizations and individuals think strategically about philanthropy.

Participants can choose from practical workshops led by experienced denominational staff and consultants, exploring topics such as narrative budgeting, communicating your congregation's impact, talking about money in church, stewarding church properties, mission-driven financial planning, and effective congregational communication.
