Hard Challenges, Abundant Blessings. Ministry in the North

Come join us for a conversation with Archbishop Fred Hiltz, Former Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada (DD W 2019), as he discusses what it is like to live and minister to Christ’s people in the northern communities of Canada. For twelve years Archbishop Hiltz served as Canada’s senior bishop and travelled extensively, visiting some of the country’s most isolated places. He will speak to us about his current experience as Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Moosonee, which straddles the James Bay and includes both indigenous and non-indigenous communities in Ontario and Quebec. The story he tells will be both difficult and inspiring.
