Leading Prayer in Worship - Online Study

Have you ever been uncertain about how to lead prayer in worship? Have you ever wondered about the words you are using? This online study will help you understand the purpose of various prayers in worship, and also help you develop your own ministry of leading in prayer. We will consider prayers of invocation, adoration, and confession, together with specific themes in prayer. Join us and be equipped!

This 5-week study will begin on March 19, 2025 and will be held on Wednesday evenings, from 6:45pm to 8:00pm (EST). Registration Fee of $135/person.

Instructor: Rev. Dr. Roland De Vries, Principal

The Rev. Dr. De Vries is the Principal of Presbyterian College. Dr. De Vries is an experienced and able pastor within The Presbyterian Church in Canada with a record of effective congregational ministry and leadership. He has been the minister of two congregations, helping them to engage in various forms of renewal.

He teaches in areas such as Reformed Theology, Congregational Mission, Global Christianity, and Forgiveness and Reconciliation. Dr. De Vries has a deep commitment to the wellbeing of Christ’s church and to the formation of ministers who are able to serve faithfully, competently, and imaginatively within a congregational setting.
