Organized by Transforming Engagement
Transforming Engagement is hosting a free, two-day online summit for ministry leaders seeking to navigate the challenges of leading in a divided world. Running September 8–9, 2025, the event features six video sessions and live Q&A opportunities with hosts Dr. Rose Madrid Swetman and Dr. Kate Rae Davis. The program is designed to equip pastors, clergy, and faith leaders with practical tools for leading through conflict, preaching with integrity, and restoring trust within fractured communities.
Organizers describe the summit as a space to “find your footing again in a time of division” through topics such as prophetic imagination, lament, storytelling, civic discipleship, and leadership renewal. Participants will hear from a range of speakers, including:
Brian McLaren – When the past and present are a mess, imagine a better future
Rachael Clinton Chen – Tending the Wounds: The Power of Lament in Fragmented Times
Sean Palmer – Using Storytelling for Connection
Andi Saccoccio & Rebecca Walston – A Call to Civic Discipleship
Kathy Escobar – New Ways for a New World: Leadership Beyond Boxes, Binaries, and Borders
Scott Hoezee – Effective Storytelling for Preaching
Free registration is open until September 7, 2025, with video access available for 48 hours during the summit dates. Recordings and resources will be available for purchase afterward.
