Contemplation can provide deep roots for our relationship with God, helping to nourish our faith and shape how we engage with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Strong Roots: Contemplative Prayer & Practice is a three-session course exploring six contemplative prayer practices. Led by Rev. Dr. Jennifer Boyes-Garbin, participants will draw on ancient, modern, and global voices to consider how contemplative practices can ground our relationship with God and encourage us to become more fully engaged, justice-focused, and self-reflective followers of Christ.
The course offers space to slow down, deepen spiritual practices, and explore contemplation not simply as an inward discipline, but as something that can shape how Christians live and act in the world.
Cost: $350 for credit or $175 to audit.
