Ministry Forum Wrapped 2025

A few weeks ago, Spotify released its annual “Wrapped” campaign—a digital mixtape of your own listening habits: what genres you leaned into, how many minutes you spent with your favourite artists, what songs you played (again and again), and even which day of the year you were most musically committed to sad folk-pop (no judgment).

It’s a fun and clever way of reflecting on a year that, in some ways, is otherwise a blur. And it got us thinking—what would Ministry Forum’s “Wrapped” look like?

So we took a deep dive into our own data. What were people searching for? What pages were visited most? What resonated with folks in this big, diverse, and faithful community we’re part of? And—what might that tell us, not only about where we’ve been, but where we might be heading?

Before we even talk about content, we want to celebrate a clear sign of growth: Ministry Forum is growing. Our community is growing.

This past year, we saw a 200% increase in nearly every key area of website engagement: visits, page views, and unique visitors. In real numbers, that looks like over 25,000 visits, 21,000 unique visitors, and 32,000 page views across our site in 2025. That’s not just numbers for the sake of numbers, it’s an incredible sign that people are coming back, engaging with what’s being shared, and maybe recommending it to others.

And here’s something neat you might not know: the more people visit our site, the more visible we become to those who haven’t found us yet. Every time you read an article, click through a podcast episode, or download a resource, it helps Ministry Forum show up more often in search results. That’s how people looking for ideas, liturgies, Sunday school material, or pastoral care resources find us.

So truly, this community is building something together. Every podcast guest, every person who submits a resource or shares feedback, everyone who forwards a link to a colleague or ministry team—you’re helping shape this space. And we are so, so grateful.

What Did We “Listen To” This Year?

Here are some of the most engaging pieces of content this year:

Perhaps most unexpectedly, one of our most-visited pages was a simple entry on our Resource Hub: Bible Study Printables. We didn’t push this page particularly hard. We didn’t promote it in any major campaign… yet, it outperformed nearly everything else. Why? Our only guess is that people are searching for resources like this. They’re looking for tools to help their communities engage with scripture. Seeing this page in our top results was a good reminder that sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is simply curate well and make things easy to find.

Other highly engaged topics included Blue Christmas liturgies, Kids Sunday School Place, and Working Preacher.

One of the most clicked-on events on our calendar was Reimagining Church Land and Community—a gathering that invited us to think theologically and practically about how the Church might steward the land it occupies for the good of its neighbours (another event highlighting the work of Adrian Jacobs and his team).

What the Data Tells Us (and Doesn’t)

Looking across this wide range of content it’s hard to see a specific pattern, any yet… one thing is super clear: ministry is diverse. There wasn’t one single theme or post that overshadowed everything else. There was a healthy, balanced engagement across topics and needs. Spiritual care, youth and children’s ministry, digital graphics, theological interviews, creative liturgies, practical downloads—it’s all helpful.

That balance reminds us that our calling is broad as we responding to the wide-ranging needs of the Church. We’re not trying to be all things to all people, but rather to listen carefully and lift up the work others are doing, making it more visible and accessible to those who need it.

We’ve always understood Ministry Forum as a gathering space where ministry leaders of all kinds can find what they need (or didn’t know they needed) and be reminded they’re not alone.

Our Growing Community

We’re so grateful to all of the leaders we had the oppertunity to work with this year.

We’re choosing not to name individual partners here - there are just too many, and we’d hate to leave someone out! Instead, we want to say this: every person who offered a workshop, lent us their voice on the podcast, pointed us to a good book, sent us a liturgy, or emailed encouragement—you are helping shape this space - THANK YOU!

The strength of Ministry Forum isn’t in any one person or program. It’s in the “web” of connections being built across provinces, denominations, and areas of ministry. It gives us a fuller glimpse of the Big-C Church, and it gives us hope for what the Church is becoming.

Looking Ahead

As we prepare to step into 2026, we carry with us the deep conviction that ministry is not a solo calling. It is shared, communal, Spirit-led work. And Ministry Forum exists to support that work—whether you’re preaching weekly, caring for youth, discerning new ways to use church land, or just trying to find the right graphic to post on social.

Thank you for being part of this growing community. We’re so glad you’re here!
