Also of note is that one of the keynotes, Daniel Whitehead, CEO of Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries, will be receiving The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s Cutting Edge of Mission Award on behalf of his organization at this year’s General Assembly.

This Summit will be packed with inspiration, tools, and micro skills to support yours and your ministry context’s mental health. Check it out!

And while you are at it, explore Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries - also a treasure trove of resources at your fingertips. In particular, consider if their Sanctuary Course could be of interest where you serve.

About the Sanctuary Course

How can a church become a sanctuary—a place where individuals living with mental health challenges feel safe, supported, and a sense of belonging? The Sanctuary Course was created to inspire and equip communities of faith that are asking this important question. Developed in consultation with mental health professionals, theologians, and people with lived experience, this eight-session study guide explores key mental health topics and examines meaningful ways to offer companionship, support recovery, and promote wellbeing.
