Winners Announced: 2025 New Subscribers Contest

The word is out… 🎉
The winners of our 2025 New Subscribers Contest are… Central Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario!

We had 12 people from Central sign up for the Ministry Forum email list—12! From one congregation! That’s amazing, and we’re so thankful to each one of you who newly subscribed in the months of November and December.

As our contest winners, we’ll be working with Central in the coming months to complete a digital ministry review (we’ll take a look at their website, social presence, and have a conversation about how digital tools can serve their ministry goals). And, Rev. John will be joining them for a Sunday of pulpit supply sometime this year!

We’re also excited to connect with Central at this moment in their journey as they welcome their new minister, Rev. Hannah Lovaglio (the “g” is silent!). You can read a bit more about Hannah here, and learn more about Central’s ministry by visiting their website.

From what we’ve seen so far, Central is a vibrant and thoughtful congregation that really cares about doing mission well in and around their community. They’ve got a strong music ministry, a growing children and youth program, and a real heart for outreach.

We’re looking forward to getting to know them better in 2026 - and sharing a bit of what we learn along the way.
