Beloved Arise
Beloved Arise exists to affirm and empower queer youth of faith, helping them navigate the often challenging intersection of spirituality and identity. Built on a multi-faith vision, the organization celebrates LGBTQ+ youth and young adults from all religious backgrounds, offering them spaces to thrive without fear of rejection.
Beloved Arise’s work is organized around three values:
Belong – Creating networks of affirming churches, mosques, temples, and faith communities; establishing youth and campus groups; and equipping student leaders to organize local projects.
Believe – Providing the most comprehensive collection of faith-and-queerness resources, sharing “Living Proof” stories, and inviting youth to tell their own through the Queer Youth of Faith National Essay Contest.
Be Loved – Hosting national celebrations like Queer Youth of Faith Day, launching media campaigns, and using social platforms to remind youth of their inherent worth.
