Children’s Grief Foundation

The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada exists to make sure grieving kids are no longer the “forgotten mourners.” 1 in 14 children will lose a parent or sibling before age 18, and they way young people process grief new specific attention and care. The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada has a mission is to ensure that families have accessible, age-appropriate, and compassionate support during some of the most difficult moments of a child’s life. Their site is filled with practical, gentle resources for caregivers, ministry leaders, chaplains, and anyone walking alongside children through loss—because most adults want to help but feel unsure about what to say or how to say it. CGFC offers both immediate, free tools for frontline support and broader, national initiatives that strengthen grief care across Canada.
