GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment)

GRACE’s mission is to empower Christian communities to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse in ways that reflect the love and justice of Christ.

Founded in 2004 by Boz Tchividjian, GRACE has become a leading voice in safeguarding within faith contexts. Their team offers training, policy development, investigative services, and educational resources to equip leaders and congregations to care for survivors and create protective environments for vulnerable individuals.

GRACE’s work emphasizes three core commitments:

  • Prevention – Developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and training leaders to stop abuse before it happens

  • Response – Offering independent, survivor-centered investigations and consultations for allegations of abuse

  • Education – Providing webinars, live trainings, and resources to foster trauma-informed ministry practices
