Dollar Store Children’s Sermons

A collection of weekly children’s sermons is designed to help ministry leaders connect scripture to kids’ everyday lives. Created by Pastor John Stevens of Zion Lutheran Church (ELCA), these messages often use inexpensive items from dollar stores as object lessons and follow the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) and Narrative Lectionary. Many congregations find them useful for in-person, hybrid, and fully online worship services.
