The Studio from the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities
The Studio is a guided organizational assessment experience from the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities (CCCC). It helps Christian ministries evaluate and strengthen the structures that support their mission, including governance, leadership, strategy, finances, and team alignment.
Through a structured process, ministries receive clear insight into how their organization is functioning and practical guidance for strengthening it. The Studio combines assessment, expert interpretation, and tailored resources to help leaders move from evaluation to action.
How The Studio Works
Self-Assessment
Leaders, managers, and board members complete an individual online assessment exploring key areas such as governance, leadership, financial oversight, people systems, and mission alignment. The assessment requires no preparation and typically takes 30–60 minutes.
Custom Report
Responses are compiled into a detailed report highlighting organizational strengths, identifying growth areas, and revealing differences in perception across leadership roles. The report provides a clear snapshot of overall organizational health and helps surface priorities for attention.
Debrief Conversation
Selected leaders meet with a member of The Studio team to review and interpret the findings. This guided conversation helps clarify what deserves attention first and identifies practical next steps based on the ministry’s specific results.
Tailored Resources and Action Planning
Ministries receive curated tools and resources aligned with the priorities identified in their report. These resources support the development of a practical action plan suited to the organization’s size, structure, and context.
Ongoing Review
Some ministries choose to revisit The Studio periodically as part of a regular rhythm of review and improvement, using the process to monitor progress and maintain alignment over time.
Who It Serves
The Studio is designed for a wide range of Christian ministries, including mission agencies, camps, schools, evangelism and discipleship organizations, relief and development ministries, and growing charities.
It works best when multiple voices participate. Senior leaders, management teams, and board members each bring a distinct perspective. When combined, these perspectives provide a fuller understanding of organizational health and create a shared foundation for decision-making.
For newer organizations, The Studio can help establish strong governance and leadership practices early. For established ministries, it can support board development, strategic planning, leadership alignment, and greater organizational clarity.
A version tailored for small churches is currently in development, with additional church-focused versions under consideration.
