Zippee Kids
Zippee Kids exists to help kids and the grown-ups guiding them nurture curiosity, center love, and build a faith that makes room for big questions.
Zippee Kids offers children's ministry curriculum and faith resources that help churches and families nurture curiosity, encourage thoughtful questions, and explore Christian faith in ways that are both age-appropriate and engaging. Pastor and educator Sarah Flannery created the curriculum, drawing on her background in children's and youth ministry, elementary education, and theology.
The curriculum takes an affirming theological approach and makes room for conversations about identity, belonging, grief, embodiment, and inclusion. Churches interested in these resources may want to review the theology to see if it fits their ministry.
Lessons focus on conversation instead of just giving answers. Each lesson helps children explore Bible stories, build spiritual habits, and connect faith to daily life. The resources also support parents and caregivers as they continue faith conversations at home.
Zippee Kids has a weekly subscription curriculum and standalone lesson packs. Weekly subscribers get new PreK and elementary lessons every week. Lesson packs let churches focus on specific topics or respond to special times in the church year without needing a full curriculum.
The Year One curriculum takes a long-term approach to faith formation and is divided into six main sections:
Beginnings & Belonging: explores Genesis stories through themes of identity, community, and calling & Courage: follows the story of Moses and explores leadership, justice, and liberation.
Jesus Is Here: introduces the life and ministry of Jesus through the Gospels.
Wonder & Witness: explores Jesus' parables, teachings, and the events leading to the cross.
Early Church & Christ Community: examines how the early church formed and looks at the lives of the disciples.
Growing Together: encourages children to practice faith through love, community, and spiritual habits.
Besides curriculum, Zippee Kids has resources for parents, pastors, and ministry leaders who want to support children's spiritual growth beyond Sunday programs. The materials work for churches of all sizes, including those with small volunteer teams and limited prep time.
