Flourishing on Mission Supporting Mental Wellbeing in Church and Ministry

New Leaf Network, in collaboration with Shalem Mental Health Network, is offering a four-part online Learning Centre series on supporting mental wellbeing in church and ministry contexts. Held on Thursdays from September 11 to October 2, 2025, the program will explore the “what,” “why,” and “how” of cultivating mental health within faith communities, offering practical strategies that can be applied proactively as well as reactively.

The series includes sessions on defining mental wellbeing in Canadian ministry contexts, practical tools for supporting it, relational wellbeing through circle processes, and community building through fair process in decision-making. Presenters are Tom Jantzi, MA, RP, Director of the Congregational Assistance Plan and Clergy Care at Shalem Mental Health Network, and Anne Martin, MA, PhD, Director of Restorative Practices at Shalem Mental Health Network.

Learning Centre sessions are recorded for registered participants who cannot attend live.
