Giving and Receiving Feedback

Part of Conrad Grebel University College's Certificate in Conflict Management and Congregational Leadership, these workshops equip church leaders with practical skills for navigating conflict, fostering healthy relationships, strengthening leadership, and helping congregations focus on mission rather than division. Participants may take individual workshops or work toward a certificate designed specifically for ministry contexts.

Giving and receiving feedback is difficult.
This workshop wrestles with the conundrum of critique, exploring the benefits and risks of these tough conversations alongside concrete strategies for managing such conversations well, especially in contexts when dynamics of power influence how feedback is given and received.
In addition, this workshop explores how to create a feedback-rich environment and how effective approaches to performance management can strengthen the ability of both staff and leaders to thrive.

This topic is suitable for Human Resource professionals, supervisors, workplace assessment professionals, clergy and anyone in a paid or unpaid leadership role.
