The Varied Landscape of Women’s Church Experiences

Join Lindsay Callaway, Senior Researcher at the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, for an interactive webinar exploring the recently released study, Women in the Canadian Evangelical Church.

Drawing on extensive research findings, this presentation examines how women understand their roles and participate in local church life across Canada. The data reveals complex generational, cultural, and theological dynamics that shape women’s experiences in congregations today. Rather than a single narrative, the findings present a nuanced and evolving picture of women’s engagement in the church — multifaceted, dynamic, and very much in flux.

This special 45-minute webinar includes:

  • A 20-minute research presentation

  • A 10-minute Q&A session

  • A 15-minute guided conversation with a church leader respondent

  • An optional 15-minute networking time following the formal session

Participants will gain research-informed insight that can help leaders better understand women’s experiences in their congregations and consider thoughtful responses in their own ministry contexts.
