At the same time, there’s growing recognition of the value chaplains bring—whether faith-based or not. This tension raises vital questions for Christian leaders: How do we offer spiritual care in pluralistic or even secular settings? What distinguishes our ministry when others are also doing this work with compassion, but without faith?
