Playlist for Life is a music and dementia charity founded in 2013 by Sally Magnusson after her mother, Mamie's, death from dementia. The charity aims to improve the lives of people living with dementia by providing them with personalized music playlists.
Music Care
Music Care is a social enterprise focused on enhancing caregiving experiences through the strategic use of music. It aims to transform care by empowering both formal and informal caregivers to integrate music into their daily practice, thereby enriching the caregiving experience. This approach has reached over 6,000 caregivers and is grounded in research demonstrating the positive effects of music on physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Hymn Society
The Hymn Society functions as an ecumenical resource for promoting congregational singing by creating awareness of various traditions and styles, collecting and sharing hymnic data, and modeling community-based events. It encourages songwriting and research in hymnic subjects and supports vibrant congregational singing that reflects contemporary life and thought.
